Improve CPD
was established in 1998 by a group of veterinary surgeons
from across the UK, including a number of recognised
experts. The primary mission of the Company is to provide
the highest quality CPD in a format that allows delegates
to develop their skills and knowledge in a logical and
progressive fashion, under the supervision of dedicated
Course Directors each of whom has the highest
qualifications in his or her field.
The Company
currently organises CPD courses in venues across the UK and
Eire, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Portugal.

As Improve continues to expand rapidly, the management team
also grows, to ensure that we can provide all our clients
with the highest possible level of service.
Our new
headquarters and training centre
We have
moved! From September 1st we have been
operating from a new Southern base.

We have
taken over a wing of Alexandra House in Wroughton near
Swindon - a purpose-built conference centre that's part of
the Principal Hayley Group - and are busy transforming it
into our headquarters and training centre. The facility
already offers state-of-the-art conference facilities
coupled with amazing hotel accommodation and leisure
facilities, all of which will be available to Improve
delegates.
We are
creating a brand new purpose-built practical room that will
be airy, roomy and hygienic and offer delegates a
comfortable and unique learning environment. And
we have a whole new range of courses to showcase
too.
Alexandra
House is a beautifully presented hotel set on 20 acres of
stunning land. It is well connected by the M4, very close
to the centre of Swindon and is an ideal place to stay with
great facilities, peaceful surroundings and top class
dining.
ACCOMMODATION
The
spacious guest rooms at the Alexandra House Venue
offer some of the finest accommodation in the area and the
professional and courteous hotel staff will endeavour to
ensure you have the most restful nights sleep possible.
Each room has been designed to offer the height of modern
convenience and comfort, and guests to the Alexandra House

Certain
rooms do accept dogs if accompanied by an Improve delegate.
Dog friendly rooms are strictly limited, so if you would

FACILITIES
The
business facilities at the Alexandra House Venue are
designed to offer a high class service with great
facilities to ensure your course is a complete success so,
at the end of the day, all that need concern you is the
actual business at hand. As well as first class conference
rooms in the Improve International Training Pod, there is a
business suite available for delegates that offers internet
access, copying and faxing facilities. Each bedroom has a
desk and study light, and a secure storage area suitable
for laptops etc.
DINING
The
experienced dining staff rotate the menu to fit the seasons
and only the freshest local produce is used in
creating an imaginative and healthy choice. There is also
an impressive wine list to accompany your choice of dish.
In the restaurant you will find:

A BBQ area
is in the central courtyard and a BBQ menu is offered on

International has managed to secure a certain number of
rooms at negotiated rates. To book one of these rooms and
take advantage of these rates, call Sally Norman on the

them know you are an Improve delegate and which course you
will be attending Please note: there is a minimum 3 day
cancellation policy on all reservations and unless this is
cancelled within this period prior to arrival, the hotel
will charge the costs of the full nights stay for every
night booked on the original booking basis.
