Mark Bowen graduated from The Royal College, London in 1996. mark has gained his RCVS Certificate in Equine Medicine (Internal Medicine) and RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia, and is now Associate Professor of Veterinary Internal Medicine at The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, Nottingham.
Course Content
This course considers the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic diarrhoea in the horse. Weight loss in the equine patient can be an interesting diagnostic challenge and the intestinal causes of this symptom will be discussed. Diseases of the liver and kidneys will be considered including both diagnostic and therapeutic considerations.
