Course content:
Veterinary practices are witnessing an increasing number of cases showing inappropriate behaviour. It is clear that responses to fear, anxiety and stress are at the root of a wide range of behaviour issues in domestic dogs and cats. Therefore knowledge is required of the function, nature and consequences of such factors within these species in order to understand how problems arise and how they can be treated.

Veterinary nurses are often the individuals that clients seek out to discuss issues about their pet’s behaviour to establish whether they have a problem that warrants further investigation.
