Sara graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1993 and spent three years in general practice before completing a small animal residency at Cambridge University, followed by a clinical oncology post. Sara has been in private referral practice for the last three years. Her interests include endocrinology, oncology and haematology.
This practical-based course will cover the following areas: Setting up a practice laboratory – what is needed? Quality control and reliability issues Standard operating procedures Introduction to assessing blood films and performing urinalysis Trouble-shooting, what to do when things go wrong There will also be a question and answer session with some clinical cases
