Howard B. Seim III is a Professor of Small Animal Surgery at Colorado State University. He is a graduate of Washington State University. He did his internship at Saskatoon, Canada, Residency at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and has been teaching small animal surgery at Colorado State University for 30 years. He was Chief of the Small Animal Surgery section at Colorado State University from 1992 to 2002.
Course content
This course is designed to teach participants the technical aspects of a variety of practical soft tissue surgery procedures. Topics have been chosen that represent surgical conditions commonly seen in veterinary practice. Emphasis will be placed on the technical aspects used to perform each procedure. Videos of clinical case material will be used extensively throughout the lectures to help illustrate each technique.
