Until recently Mark was a clinical associate at the University of Bristol Veterinary School seeing a case load with a heavy oncology bias. At present he is a Wellcome Trust Research Fellow at the University of Oxford investigating the manipulation of the IGF receptor signaling pathway and its effect on melanoma immunogenicity.
This two day course will aim to discuss the presentation, management and therapy for a variety of both common and rarer canine and feline tumours. Lecture time will be kept to a minimum and most sessions will involve case presentations, problem solving scenarios, discussions and microscopy aiming to present actual cases, and their complications, in a "real life" practical and interactive format.
Who should attend
This course is ideal for clinicians who may have managed cancer in their patients but wish to gain a broader knowledge of the subject, the techniques and therapeutics available for cancer management, in addition to an introduction to diagnostic procedures or therapies which they have previously been wary of utilising.
