Sara Manners-Bell BVetMed DSAM MRCVS RCVS Specialist Internal Medicine.
Sara graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1993 and spent three years in general practice before completing a Small Animal Residency at Cambridge University, followed by a clinical oncology post. Sara has been in private referral practice for the last three years. Her interests include endocrinology, oncology and haematology.
The course will cover the aetiology, diagnosis and treatment of common causes of anaemia in the dog and cat. A practical approach to diagnosis and the examination of blood films will be included, as will how to perform bone marrow biopsies and the use of blood transfusions. Clinical cases will also be used to help illustrate the lectures.
