At the end of this module, delegates should be able to:
• Describe the causes, investigation and treatment of aural skin disease
• Describe the causes, investigation and treatment of planum nasale disease
• Describe the causes, investigation and treatment of digital skin disease
• Describe the causes, investigation and treatment of nail disease

The diagnosis and management of skin disease represents a major component of small animal practice.
The anatomy and physiology of skin will be covered before considering the approach to a dermatological examination and the range of diagnostic tests available. Common clinical presentations will be included, as will both the treatment and management of these conditions. There will be suggested reading between modules and delegates will be asked to contribute to group discussions. At the end of the course the diligent delegate will have a much improved knowledge of Dermatology.
Above all, the aim is to encourage further learning.
