One-day update course
Course outline
Over the last few years there has been continuing publication and discussion of many of the important conditions affecting the upper part of the respiratory tract. In addition, technology continues to develop allowing us better opportunities for the imaging and treatment of some of the conditions of this area. This course, using a mixture of highly illustrated lectures, case-based discussions, and extra time for discussion is designed to update clinicians on the new ideas for aetiology, diagnosis and treatment of a whole range of conditions of the upper respiratory tract. The day is intended to be relaxed, informal and very interactive with plenty of discussion time available. Delegates are encouraged to bring along case material of their own to be used in the open discussion sessions.
Specific areas to be covered include:
• Paranasal sinus disease
• Laser surgery in the upper respiratory tract
• New developments in video endoscopy
• Imaging techniques in the upper respiratory tract
• New developments in Idiopathic Laryngeal Hemiplegia and dorsal displacement of the soft palate |
