Course Content
Birds are ostensibly wild creatures, they hide the signs of illness for as long as possible, once sick, they get sicker and die quicker than mammals. A specific diagnosis needs to be achieved on day one of presentation. This course is designed for interested practitioners, or those wishing to take bird medicine that step further. From history taking, visual, and physical examination, to anaesthesia, bloods, radiography and endoscopy, medical, surgical, therapeutics and nutritional and nursing support care – we will do our best to cover it all. Lectures and cases will be presented.
