Course Content
This course reviews the technique of musculoskeletal ultrasound, including setting up the ultrasound machine, normal anatomy, normal ultrasonographic findings and findings in disease. The session concentrates on the distal limb tendons and ligaments, but also includes ultrasound of joints and tendon sheaths, and the stifle joint. If delegates wish to bring their own ultrasound machines, different machine controls and optimising settings will be reviewed during the group discussions/practical.
