Course Content
This course will focus on the more common endocrinopathies of the cat such as hyperthyroidism and diabetes mellitus, as well as the emerging syndromes of feline acromegaly, hyperadrenocorticism and hyperaldosteronism. The pathophysiology, clinical signs, diagnosis and treatment of each condition will be covered, and management of difficult cases will also be addressed, particularly with respect to unstable diabetes. The session will also allow opportunities for delegates to discuss controversies in the field, as well as their experience of individual cases.
