Whether it's the removal of single eyelid masses or four lid procedures to correct diamond eye, surgical management of eyelid conditions is something that everyone in general practice has to deal with. This course aims to provide delegates with a logical approach to eyelid surgery in the dog. It will start with an overview of the conditions requiring surgical intervention, a discussion of the preparation of the eye and the instruments required. Possible surgical techniques will be illustrated with case studies. A practical session will give you ample time to try out the operations discussed and any others that you may wish to practice under supervision.
Who should attend
This is a very practical day for veterinary surgeons with an interest in ophthalmology, as well as those who have a more surgical leaning. It's all about having a desire to learn the correct way to prepare for and perform surgery on canine eyelids.
