Summary:

Orthopaedic cases involving conditions of the joints and bones in small animals are commonly encountered in first opinion practice. There are however quite number of vets that have little experience of carrying out orthopaedic surgical procedures and to this group the techniques can seem somewhat daunting. This three-day ‘hands-on’ course has been specifically designed for those vets in practice who would like to develop their knowledge and skills in orthopaedics so that they can build confidence and tackle some of the more usual conditions. A mix of short review lectures will be followed by practical sessions where delegates can carry out procedures in a closely supervised and supportive atmosphere.
