Christine Gibbs is a Foundation Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. Since her retirement from a Senior Lectureship at the University of Bristol, she has been teaching diagnostic radiology at undergraduate and post-graduate levels in veterinary schools worldwide.
Course content
The programme will include sessions on the axial and appendicular skeleton, thorax and abdomen. Each session will include a brief lecture highlighting the importance of correct radiographic technique followed by film reading and discussion.
Who should attend
This course is designed for vets in general practice who have some experience of interpreting small animal radiographs but now wish to widen their experience. Those enrolled for the CertVDI should find it helpful for revision and potential candidates for the specialist imaging modules of the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice will find the material a useful starting point for their studies.
