Ed Hall is Professor of Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Bristol, where he runs a referral gastroenterology and endoscopy service. He is coeditor of the BSAVA Manual of Canine and Feline Gastroenterology, and has written chapters in the forthcoming Manual of Canine and Feline Endoscopy and Endosurgery.
Flexible endoscopy is now within the reach of general practice with more affordable systems.
